Abstract

Dr Oliver Mayeux and I introduced the socio-historical background of Mauritian Creole and Louisiana Creole so participants could make the most of the ‘Working with Creole data’ session, which we designed to enable participants to identify similarities and differences between the two Creole languages themselves.
