Feedback

Morphology tutor feedback

I think the exercises were good and about the right amount of material to cover in an hour. Your detailed answer sheets made the classes go very smoothly on my part. Thanks for making our life easy.

English as a Foreign Language

Hannah is a brilliant tutor. She has been teaching English as a Foreign Language to several members of our family for nearly 5 years. She easily adapts the material and approach to your expectations, needs and interests. And she has proven she can teach easily to any age range and we know what we are talking about as she is teaching from 3 to 71 in our family! She is kind, patient and lovely. If you need a tutor, you couldn’t be in better hands.

First Year Undergraduate (Linguistics)

It was never any secret that General Linguistics was always my favourite paper but it was significantly aided by your incredibly helpful feedback.

First Year Undergraduate (Linguistics)

The format of the tutorial was consistent and worked really well … I would leave with a much better idea of how to go about answering both questions in a future scenario.

Undergraduate Visiting Student

I have thoroughly enjoyed each tutorial with my tutor. She is always prepared with additional questions and considerations about the topic I am studying for the week. The tutor has gone to great lengths to help me engage in the material by adding specialized readings regarding my future career. It is clear that the tutor cares about tutees holistically by asking about their week and other studies. This is extremely beneficial in a learning environment.

GCSE German Student

My son has had 4 lessons with Hannah to date and it is great to see that he is beginning to enjoy his German again. He is becoming more confident and says she explains things really well in a way that he can understand fully and action. [He] is the one organising his lessons with her and is actually doing some prep ready for his lessons!! Definitely a good decision on our part to ask Hannah for help and would definitely recommend her.

Undergraduate German Student

Hannah has been helping me improve my German for a couple of weeks now, and it’s already made a big difference. She’s really helpful, as well as being friendly and professional. I’d definitely recommend her.

GCSE French Student

Hannah showed thorough competence and creativity in all aspects of language teaching, covering all parts of the required syllabus, including reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. Hannah prepared carefully for each session, showing good attention to detail and planning. She was clear about the outcomes she wanted to see. Hannah always set relevant homework for [our son], and followed up meticulously. There is absolutely no doubt that [our son]’s success in his French exam was due to Hannah’s work. She displayed a truly impressive ability to motivate a 16-year-old student and raise the level of his interest in the French language and his desire to achieve a good examination result. We would not hesitate to employ Hannah again for work in an educational setting, and we are pleased to offer our highest recommendation.
